Lunch With My Favorite Little Guys

I had lunch today with my two favorite young men, Bryce age five and Brody age one.  Bryce was rather quiet but Brody was jabbering and laughing and kept us entertained.  They are both such adorable little boys and I am very happy to be their “adopted” grandma.  Brody is having tubes put in his ears on Thursday and his maternal grandmother is on her way to Louisiana from Alabama to be here with him.  And since she will be here for a few days, I will get to visit with her.  At least Alabama is closer to Louisiana than Montana.  Hopefully one day she and Barry will be back in Louisiana to stay.  Many, many people miss them.

When we left the restaurant I was planning to come home but then when I got to the interstate entrance, I decided that I would drive to Arcadia to the Outlet Mall and see if I could find a pair of red jeans.  There were no red jeans but I did buy a new pair of black ones.

Driving home I remembered that I had an appointment for a haircut tomorrow and decided that I would call Dana and see if she could get me in today.  I was just too tired to come home and do anything.  Fortunately she could take me a few minutes before five so I came on home and killed time on the computer until time to leave for my haircut.

When I got home from the hair appointment I was still extremely tired so I called Brian and asked if he would like to eat out tonight as my treat.  Bless his heart he is trying to save me money so he suggested the five-dollar pizza from Dominoes so I agreed.  Last time we had one it was rather good for he got it with Parmesan sauce instead of the tomato sauce.  But even then it was not as good as Fox’s for Dominoes does not make a very, very thin crust, which I prefer.

Since I had very little sleep last night I am going to try to be in bed tonight by nine.  I have many things that I need to do this week and I just cannot do them when I am so tired.  Next week is Vacation Bible School and I am the “official” photographer and that will require a good deal of walking.  Fortunately I can usually get all the photos for the day in an hour or so and only need to take photos the first four days.
