Lunch With Brian
This morning I actually woke up an hour before the alarm was to go off but of course I did not get up. I just lay there and listened to a book on tape until the alarm did go off. After I hit the snooze button two times, I finally got up and got ready for church. As I was leaving I asked Brian if he would like to have lunch with me today. He was half asleep and mumbled that he did not know. Told him if he wanted to then to be up and showered and dressed when I got home. Believe it or not when I got home he was in the shower. I played on the computer waiting for him to dress and find all the books that he needed to return to the library. We each drove since he was going to Monroe after lunch and I was staying at the library in Ruston. We ended up having lunch at Fox’s Pizza Den and the best part is that Brian paid.
I learned today that my friend Johnette’ s younger daughter is having a baby in August. So, another baby boy quilt to add to my list. It seems that every time I turn around, someone is having a baby and I want to make a quilt. Brian keeps telling me that I do not need to make all these quilts and I tell him that I know I do not NEED to make them but I WANT to make them.
