May Stop Making Plans

Here it is almost the end of the week and again I have not gotten everything done that I wanted to do.  I think I may just stop planning to do anything and then I will just do whatever needs doing at the time.  Would probably work better than making plans that seldom work out anyway.

I am trying to get my studio arranged in the best way to take advantage of the room and that requires a lot of pushing, pulling, and picking up which is not great on the back.  If I decide to move my computer then I will ask Brian to move the computer and desk.  He is a big strong guy and he can do it with no problem.  Oh I can move it but would probably have a backache for a week or more.

I have bamboo roll up shades on the eight windows but since I now have all my fabric in opaque containers, I am seriously thinking of taking the shades down and putting up curtains to cover just the bottom half of the window.  Since there are no houses facing the   windows, I would be happy with no window coverings at all; however, at night I don’t like looking up and seeing eight large areas of black that reflect everything in the room.  Several times I have thought of making eight different very large quilt blocks and using those as half curtains.  Another idea I had for curtains was to use different, special fabrics to make curtains.  These fabrics are ones that I have bought just because they were beautiful fabrics and I wanted a piece. Or a third idea is that I could make patchwork using all the Paisley fabrics that I have collected over the years.  Sad to say, but probably will never get any of them made.  But then you never know.
