A Day For Reading
Today when I got home from church I read a few emails and then decided to treat myself to lunch. Not a novel idea since I go out for lunch nearly every Sunday after church. I was hungry for fried chicken so I had lunch at Cane’s. After lunch I went to the library and the first thing I did was the reading for the challenge to read the Bible in 90-days. Then I started reading the novel that I had started last night. I did not realize how long I had been reading until one of the librarians announced that the library would be closing in thirty minutes. I kept reading until the fifteen-minute warning and at that time I only had about fifteen pages left to read.
As I left the library, I was having a chocolate craving so I stopped at Sonic and bought a large chocolate milk shake. It was so thick that it lasted almost all the way home and oh was it good and just what my craving needed. When I got back home I had a few minutes before I needed to get ready for church so I sat here and finished the book.
When I got home from church tonight, I started reading the second book in the series and it is now about one fourth finished. I think it is safe to say that I am addicted to reading.
