Where Did The Week Go?

The way time flies I will be eighty years old before I have gotten used to the idea of being seventy-one.  Maybe if I would get busy doing all the quilting that I need to do then time would not seem to go by so fast.  At least I would have something to show for my time.  Well I do have something, a big pile of books that I have read and another pile of audio books that I have listened to as I fall asleep each night.

The Jackson Parish Library has a book group that meets once a month and discusses a book that everyone has read.  I got the book today on tape and am seriously thinking of going to the meeting.  I have never been in a book discussion group so not sure if I will like it or not.  But I am at least going to give it a try on Wednesday afternoon.  The book that will be discussed is I See You Everywhere by Julia Glass.  Of course if I do not like the book after listening to about an hour then I will just return to the library and forget about the meeting this month.  There are too many great books to spend my time reading one that I do not like.
