First Day Of The Year A Lazy One
Today was the first day of my new eating regime. I made breakfast pizza this morning for Brian and me. It has all the food groups on it except for fruit. It may be a breakfast pizza but it was our lunch for we did not get up until after ten. Wonder of wonders is that Brian helped me prepare the pizza. Hate to say it but I also had a piece of the pizza for dinner. Brian was not here and I did not want to cook and it was available. Just had a pear for dessert.
Went back to Wal-Mart today and I finally have a scale that works. As I have said before I do not count calories but just eat six small meals. I wish that I could find my Curves book for it has two different meal plans in it and they work well for losing weight. The menus are written out so one just has to follow the plan and no calories to count. But I can also lose just eating less and more often so that I am never hungry. Brian got my Gazelle out of storage today and it is now in my studio waiting for me to jump on and start excising. Tomorrow is another day.
I actually saw the ball in Times Square drop twice last night. I watched at midnight New York time and then again at midnight here in Louisiana. I could not believe the time when I finally went to bed at three this morning. As I was lying in bed and thinking about things that I want to do this year I thought that it would be great if I could do some sewing/quilting every day except Sunday. However today is almost over and I have done no quilting. Today is a holiday, so that is my excuse.
