Scott Is Home
Scott arrived home safely and was here when I got home from church. Tonight the high school girls Sunday school class had a gift for each member of the seniors Sunday school class. Then when I picked up my Christmas movies from Ashley, she had a Christmas gift for me on top of the bag.
I had planned to bake my pies today but decided to wait until tomorrow. Actually it was decided for me. I got a bee in my bonnet and got in the kitchen and cleaned out a cupboard. That took the time I intended to spend baking. Oh well we are not eating until seven tomorrow night so I will have plenty of time to bake two pies. I almost forgot that I still have about six dozen cookies to bake. But I think I will only bake about half of them and that way we can have fresh baked ones next week.
The grocery only had Cajun seasoned turkey roasts and they are too hot with pepper for my taste. I bought a breast that has the bone in it and I had planned to cook in the crock pot but it is too large even for our largest crock pot. Oh well I will stick it in the oven about three and it will be ready when we are ready to eat. I have a Cajun solution that is injected into meat and I was going to use some of that but I cannot find my needle for injecting. It is a good flavored seasoning and not hot with pepper.
I am very tired from doing so much standing today so I am going to sleep late tomorrow morning and everyone will be responsible for his or her own breakfast. I am not interested in preparing lunch tomorrow so we may just hit Taco Bell.
