Cookies Made
Finally mixed up the cookie dough this afternoon. Even though the recipe said to chill the dough I went ahead and baked one cookie sheet full for I have been wanting a fruit cookie for weeks. I can’t remember ever chilling cookie dough for I was always too eager to have a cookie.
Working on wrapping the presents and I will be finished before I go to bed. In fact, I am not going to bed until they are all wrapped and under the tree in my studio. Not putting them in the living room for I do not want the cats pawing at the packages.
I was complaining yesterday about the post office closing at noon on Christmas Eve and then today it finally dawned on me that it would not matter for the post office is always open for patrons to pick up mail. And if a package will not fit in the mailbox, then it is put in one of the large boxes on the wall adjoining the individual mailboxes and a key is left in the patron’s mailbox. So I can go up anytime Christmas Eve to get my package if Amazon gets it here by then.
