Sunny Sunday
Today was the second beautiful, sunny day that we have had after a week of dark, dreary days. Bright sunny days definitely lift the spirit and make one a much happier person. Since Brian and Christy were not here today I took myself out for lunch which I do almost every Sunday. Today I had my favorite pizza at Fox’s Pizza. After lunch I spent a couple hours at the library and finished up a book that I started last night. Yesterday when I was in the library one of the ladies was wearing a tee shirt that had “Get Hooked On Reading” on the front. I told her that I thought that maybe I was too hooked on reading. I will return all the books and tell myself I am not going to check out any more to read, just CDs to listen to when I get in bed. That will last at the most for a couple of days and I am back at the library checking out books to read the old fashioned way.
We normally do not have a colorful autumn here in Louisiana but this year I keep seeing a tree or two every so often that is really colorful. Today I saw a really pretty yellow one.
I think my cell phone changes the color of things just a bit. In this picture the leaves look more orange than yellow but they are really quite yellow. I noticed that in the picture of the red leaves that I posted earlier , the leaves looked redder than they actually were. I see a lot more colorful foliage if I am wearing my sunglasses that have a slight pink tint. That is one way to have a bright autumn.
