Car Is Now Legally Tagged
No rain today but it was cloudy this morning but then we had a bright, sunny afternoon. I could not sleep this morning so I was up about ten and got another book ready for the post office. Selling an average two books a month, I will never get rid of all my books. The lady paid for media mail but the book was too lightweight for media so I sent it first class and now I need to return ninety-nine cents to the buyer of the book. I will return if she sends me her PayPal email address.
Before I went to the post office I drove to the Office of Motor Vehicles. I told the lady that I did not get a letter from Baton Rouge before my tag expired. I had the last registration so she took that and my insurance card and filled out a new registration. I told her about my tag being all bent and she asked if I wanted a new one and that it did not cost. The great news is that with a late fee of only THREE DOLLARS, I got a brand new tag that is good until September 2011 for $25.50. The tag price went up two dollars and fifty cents since I got the last one in 2007. I was so happy that the tag did not cost be a great deal of money because it had expired five months ago.

When the lady handed me the new tag, I took one look at the number and knew it would be easy to remember the letters. Social Security Joke. Made her laugh. The number will be easy to remember too.
