Quilt & Wall Hanging Delivered
Last night I was working on the quilt and decided to just stay up as long as I could since I would not go to sleep if I went to bed. At four thirty this morning I finally went to bed and would you believe that I was still awake a few minutes after eight. Finally fell asleep and woke up at two and even though I needed more sleep I got up for I still had about thirty minutes of stitching to do on the quilt and had to put the backing on the wall hanging. I had to pick up my eye drops at the pharmacy before I could get started on the quilt. At five thirty, everything was finished and I called Ashley to see if it would be better to come then or after church to give the quilt to the boys and she told me to come on over then.
Bryce opened the door and when I handed him the quilt he took it and immediately covered up on the floor and was saying, “I love it, I love it, I love it.” Of course that made every stitch worthwhile.
It took Ashley and me both to get him to settle down and let us take pictures of the quilt. While Bryce was on the floor with the quilt, Brody had crawled over and was grabbing it with both hands and had a great big smile on his face.

After I had taken all the pictures I wanted, I told Ashley that I had something for her and handed her the wall hanging. She was very surprised and said that she loved the colors and loved the hanging. She immediately took down a long picture and hung the wall hanging in its place. I must say that it really looked nice on the wall. At a distance one cannot see all the crooked stitches.

Hey DD,
Those quilts look absolutely brilliant hun. Awwwww how cute are those boys? Don’t ya just wanna eat them up??? lol Not literally though…that’s not nice, but you know what I mean huh? Crooked stitches? What crooked stitches? They all pass my 1 metre rule (approx 3 feet for those who don’t live in metric countries) for sure….if you stand a metre away and can’t see any faults…then it’s all good! lol Hugs Naomi
