Still Raining
It seems that it has been raining for months but think it has only been about two weeks. We had a very dry summer so the rain is good for all the growing things, and the rain does keep it from being so hot and that is really great in my opinion.
Spent the late afternoon and night working on the Halloween/Thanksgiving quilt and should have it finished to take to the boys tomorrow. Sunday night after church I met with the ladies about the quilts and curtains for the nursery at church and I came home with material for TWO quilts and two pillows. One nice thing is that the quilts will be very small, just large enough to cover a baby crib. And I make pillow covers in such a way that it only takes me a very few minutes to make one. The curtains will just be flat panels so those will be very easy to make also. They still have to get the material for the curtains. It seems that I am starting to get very busy making quilts for others but no money is involved, but I would not want to be paid for making something for my church. It is a labor of love.
