Cool Monday
We have finally gotten some cool weather and I for one am really enjoying it.
It rained rather hard all day Sunday and most of the night, and because of that we had no satellite Internet connection. I went to bed about ten and was still awake when Brian and Christy got home about midnight. I got up then to tell them something and saw that the Internet was finally on but by then I did not care.
When I got up this morning and turned on the computer I saw that I had a new book order. I printed out the address label and the packing slip, and had the package ready to mail in just a few minutes for I only had to put the book in a Priority envelope. I just remembered that I forgot to put bubble wrap around the book. Oh well. Anyway, I got in the car and drove to the post office and when I got there it was closed. I had completely forgotten about Columbus Day.
Tonight was the last night for our Bible study for the last lesson will be on a Saturday up in Ruston. I doubt that I will make that one for I can’t seem to get to events that are scheduled on a Saturday afternoon.
