Supper At Church
Tonight was our monthly supper at church and everything was delicious as always. When I finished eating, I filled up a plate for Brian but unfortunately there was no meat left. The only meat tonight was fried chicken and every last piece was gone. But I had roast beef at home so he had a couple slices of that with the veggies I brought him. Probably the food that Brian liked best was the four deviled eggs. That kid loves deviled eggs. I also brought him a full plate of desserts. My friend had brought a sweet potato pie and she insisted that I bring all that was left over home so there will be some dessert for me tomorrow.
A friend had asked me some time back if I would help her make a baby quilt for a mutual friend who is a missionary in Honduras. I talked with her tonight and it seems that I will now be making the quilt alone. I am going over tomorrow to pick up the shirts that are to be the material for the quilt. The shirts belonged to the baby’s grandfather. I have also told another friend that I will make quilts and curtains for the nursery at church. We just had a big remodeling and redecorating project for the educational building of the church. I really don’t mind making them so I will be getting that fabric Sunday night. Tomorrow and Friday I hope to get the Halloween/Thanksgiving quilt made for Bryce and Brody. I am going to be busy for a while but it is about time that I got something done. I just hope that I can overcome my tiredness.
