Great Dinner & Dessert
I was to be at Ashley’s house this afternoon at four thirty for us to go to Fox’s for a pizza dinner. I got there and she was not at home. Called her cell and got voice mail. She called me back in a couple of minutes and said she was almost home. There was a problem with daycare so she was a little late getting home. It was no problem for me for I had a book with me and read until she got home. Bryce was supposed to be at Karate and not going with us but she wanted to get his flu shot so he skipped Karate. We had a lovely dinner and then on the way home she needed to make a couple of stops, one being to get Bryce’s flu shot. He did not get the shot for they were not giving them to anyone under sixteen. When she got back in the car she asked if I minded going to TCBY for frozen yogurt. She only had to twist my arm just a tiny bit.
When I got home I had to take a check to the guy who cuts my lawn for I was asleep when he came this morning. I started to his house and saw that my gas gauge was showing the red light. I decided to turn around and go back to the gas station in Quitman for that was nearer than going on to his house and then on to Hodge. I definitely did not want to run out of gas for I would have had a nice long walk home.
I did not make it to Bible study this morning for I had not had but a couple hours sleep. I took the sleeping pill about eight last night thinking that it would then be gone by eight this morning. I have a feeling that if you do not go to bed within thirty minutes, then the effect wears off. I did notice about thirty minutes after taking the pill that I felt a little dizzy. Should have gone to bed then instead of staying up. Tonight I am taking a pill but going to bed within the thirty minute period.
