Moving Right Along
Been sewing squares of pink and brown fabrics together until the world looks level or my eyes are crossed. I can’t believe that it took me longer to press all the seams on the squares than it did to sew them together. I am happy to see that the squares look much better sewn together than they did just spread out on the table. If I get over my sleepy spell then I may stay up late tonight and keep sewing. I am ready to quilt the squares and that should not take too long. There are nine blocks that require appliqué but those will be fairly easy to do also. Fortunately, three of the blocks have a single, large flower that will stitch up really fast for all the curves are slight. The other six appliqué blocks have three small lilies each with slightly pointed petals so those will require a lot more time.
