Hot & Humid

Today was a day to be thankful that years ago someone  invented air conditioning.   This morning about eleven I went outside to move Brian’s car for he had parked behind me.  Just walking about ten feet to the car, getting in and moving it and then walking about ten more feet back into the house left me looking and feeling as if I had gotten caught in a shower.  It was so humid and hot that it was hard to breathe.  And we still have the month of August to go through.  Oh that is right, today is August first.  It will only get hotter so I will be spending my time inside unless I just have to go out.

This evening I got Mignon’s quilt out to see what all still needed to be done to it.   I  have about decided to change the center panel for I am not so sure that I really like what I had planned to do.  Will play around with it tomorrow and see if I still feel that way about the original plan.  When I started the quilt she only had one grandson and I have him depicted on the quilt as a little ball player.  Now there is the second grandson and not sure if I can get him added to the quilt.  Probably be best to just let the little baseball player represent Bryce and Brody.  Maybe while I am sleeping tonight my subconscious will come up with an idea for a new center panel.  Many times if I fall asleep thinking about a situation such as the quilt, I will actually wake up with an idea of how to solve the problem.  Hope that works tonight.
