Life Back To Normal
I had my alarm set for seven this morning and when it went off I called the plumber again. About thirty minutes later he called me and said he would be there around eleven since he had a doctor’s appointment in Ruston at nine. Just a couple of minutes before ten the phone rang again and it was the plumber saying he was turning onto my street. I was still in bed so I had to quickly grab some clothing and go to the door to let him in. After about forty minutes the job was completed, the sink was working perfectly, and fortunately the price was not too bad either.
After the plumber left I was all set to start working on posting books to my website but it started raining so hard that the satellite Internet went off. It had been working fine until about ten when the rain really started coming down. The rain running off the edge of the carport looked as if someone were pouring water from a bucket. About four this afternoon the sun came out and it was a beautiful, sunny afternoon. All the rain lowered the temperature a little that is always nice in July in Louisiana.
About noon when it was still raining and dark and dreary outside, I decided to finish watching The Killing Fields so that I could then return the movie to the library. The last half of the movie was better for I could at least tell the bad guys from the good guys. The Khmer Rouge soldiers wore reddish-orange checked scarves around their heads, necks, or waists. The movie was certainly an eye opener. No wonder so many men and women came home from the Vietnam War in such a sad mental state.
This morning just for the heck of it, I checked Scott’s Facebook site and he had put up some new photos from Cambodia. There were three someone took of him so I just have to share them on here.

Seems the little girls are having a great time. In pictures that Scott took, others from the group were playing games with several groups of kids. Seems all the groups were either all boys or all girls.
