Good Day
When Scott and I got home from church we were planning to have lunch at home but there was no bread for sandwiches so the boys and I decided to go to Ruston for lunch. I was thinking something inexpensive like Taco Bell but Brian was driving and we ended up at Applebee’s. Oh well, I do not get to have lunch with both of them very often so it was fine. Christy did not go so we brought her lunch.
Tonight when we got home from church Christy was preparing kabobs for the grill. They were delicious and I told her that if she wants to grill every night, I would not object.
Scott sang at church tonight and did a great job. Several of the members came up to me and told me how good he sounded. Made my heart swell with pride. I agree with them one hundred percent, he is good.
Scott leaves tomorrow and I will be sad to see him leave. Tonight at dinner he said he wanted to finish the screened in porch before he left. Friday, he and Brian got all the torn screens removed and now they have to put up the new ones. I will probably end up helping him since Brian has to go back to work.
