Beautiful Sunday

It is a beautiful Sunday here in the bayous of Louisiana. Sunday School and Church this morning were great as usual.

Father’s Day is somewhat sad for me mainly because my sons no longer have a father. My father has been dead since 1968 and I never knew my father-in-law for he died years before Don and I met. And my grandfathers both died in 1948. Even all my “adopted” fathers are no longer alive. So I just send cards to other people’s dads.

Brian checked last night and our usage is now down to ninety-two percent. I had the modem unplugged as he had told me to do but last night he told me to leave it on and I could use the computer for a very short time. Therefore tomorrow I am not going to the library to post to my blog and check my website but will do so at my own computer late at night.

I talked with Ashley yesterday afternoon and they are not doing anything special for their anniversary, in fact, Buster will not get home from his Karate school until about nine at night. So that gives me three whole days to finish up the quilt. I am planning to be finished by Tuesday night but one never knows what may come up. Right now I am debating with myself if I want to do any quilting on the tee shirt appliqué. On the other tee shirt quilts that I made I did no quilting on the appliqué but these appliqués are much larger than most. I really do not think that the batting will cause any problem for it is somewhat bonded and does not shift and lump up. Maybe I will have made up my mind by the time I get the appliqués finished.
