End Of The Week

Here it is the last day of the week which means that I have two days, Monday and Tuesday, after today to get the quilt finished.  I am going to make it.  I would be more finished than I am but I keep changing my mind about how I want to quilt the front.  When I get back home I am just going to start sewing and do it and that will be that.

Oh my, it is so nice to have the house all cool and comfortable again.  We have been cool since Tuesday night.  I think the AC ran constantly for about twenty-four hours to get the house cooled down.  Brian keeps it so cool that I have to sleep under a blanket at night but I actually prefer that.

I have to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart for I need to pick up food for my three grandkids, the ones with four legs.  Rhett the black and white male is the biggest baby I have ever seen.  Anytime I sit down in the living room, up he jumps and reclines on my lap and will stay there until I force him down so that I can get up.  Sophie the yellow tabby and the younger of the two females has finally taken a liking to me and when she sees me enter the room she will jump up on a chair and reach up and put her paws on my body almost the same way a child will reach up to be picked up.  She is one silly little cat.  When Brian first moved in all Sophie would do around me was hiss.  Parker the gray tabby is still more or less a snob.  She just lies around, sleeps, and pretty much ignores everyone.
