It’s The Weekend Again
Yesterday when I was talking with Ashley I asked her if she wanted the quilt for their anniversary. Her eyes lit up and she that that would be great to give it to him then. She said that last week Buster had asked where his tee shirts were and she told him they were packed away somewhere. Their anniversary is the 24th of June so I have plenty of time to get his quilt made.
When I got home from Jonesboro yesterday I decided to go to Hobby Lobby and Hancock’s in Monroe and see if I could find any new floral prints on a black background. I did come home with twelve new pieces of fabric even though four of them are not a black background. I want to use the floral fabric to make a quilt for Ashley’s birthday that is the 27th of June. If I will just get to work I can get both quilts finished.
I had a horrible night last night sleep wise. I was still awake at six this morning and then I finally fell asleep and did not get up until two. I have to have my eight hours of sleep or I just cannot function. I meant to be in bed shortly after nine tonight but it is now getting very close to eleven. A couple of hours ago I took two Benadryl for I have been sneezing and they also make me sleepy. I am feeling quite sleepy so I think that I will be able to fall asleep in just a very short time. I certainly hope that I do for I want to get up early tomorrow and get the fabrics ready for cutting and sewing.
