Start of a Holiday Weekend
Well today is the start of the Memorial Day Weekend. For me it will be just like any other weekend except that I will remember our veterans and all they have sacrificed for our country. I will also pray for our men and women who are now in the Middle East and away from their families and friends.
We have had weird weather today. When I got up it was cloudy and there had been a light shower or rain. Then we had several hours of sunshine and then another little shower. At least it is better than the gully washers we have been having for the past two or three weeks.
Brian had to go to the library in West Monroe after work and about ah hour ago he called to see what kind of sandwiches Christy and I would like from the Pickle Barrel. Hope he gets here soon for I am hungry and my Reuben sandwich is sounding better and better. I love Reuben sandwiches but they are such a mess to make, and to eat.
