I Am A Happy Woman
Came home Monday from the library and turned on the A/C to see if it had been repaired. COOL AIR came out of the vents and needless to say I was one happy lady. Brian was a very happy man too when he arrived home from work. Christy is at her grandmother’s this week so she will also be delighted when she gets back home to find the house nice and cool. A cool bedroom makes for great sleeping. It has really gotten hot this week so I am extra thankful for the A/C working.
I have not received a bill yet but have a rough idea of the cost and it is very reasonable. Only had to have the fan in the compressor replaced. I am very thankful for small miracles. Hopefully in another month or two at the most, we can get the bathroom redone. Brian is saving money to get a new computer and I have a feeling that my computer is going to go on the blink very soon. Non-internet programs are starting to take forever to open or will not even open at all. I am very seriously thinking of getting a laptop when I do have to replace the computer.
So far this week has been uneventful and still no sewing or quilting done. I was just at Wal-Mart and bought some neat fabric for a boy quilt. It has big vehicles and earth moving machines on it and I plan to use it for the front of a quilt for my new surrogate grandson Brody. He is Bryce’s little brother and is cute as a bug.
This week I have already been asked by four people to be their friend on Facebook which is just what I need, something else to read and post comments. I may just have to breakdown and put something on there. I joined but have never put anything on the site except my name. I joined Twitter when I saw that both Scott and Brian were using it but so far I have not posted but two messages. I prefer to just pour my heart out on my blog.
