An Uneventful Week

This past week has been another week where very little has been accomplished. I did do a good job studying my lessons for Bible study. Guess that is better than doing absolutely nothing.  Oh I did do things around the house but still no sewing or quilting.  Did not even get my new white pants shortened.  That will be my first job tomorrow.

This week I am going to be taking a short vacation, not only short in days but short in miles from home.  Joyce and Linda are coming down for a visit and we are going to be meeting in Natchitoches.  With Brian and Christy and all their stuff in the house, there is no room for visitors, even family.  And too, I want to get away for a few days so this is turning out just fine.  We will be in Natchitoches Wednesday night through Saturday morning.  Brian and Christy will come over the three nights to have dinner with us and Linda will get to meet Christy.  Joyce met her the last time she visited.  Natchitoches is a neat town so we should have a great time.  I think all three of us want some time to just sit and visit and let the rest of the world roll by.

Joyce is interested in any fleece fabric that I may have so I need to get all of that pulled out so that I can take it to her.  She makes things for the Linus Project and can use the fleece.  Since I will never be using the fleece I am more than happy to take it to her.  One of these days when I can get to all my yarn, I will be giving a lot of that to Joyce also.  She is also interested in my serger so hope it will fit her needs and I can get rid of one more piece of “stuff” that I never use anymore.
