Love Buzzard's Crafts & Life

When I got up this morning I still could not get connected to the Internet so I called Wild Blue Satellite to ask if they were having any problems with service. The lady assured me that everything was working fine. She told me to unplug my modem, wait about ten seconds, and then put the plug back in.  I did this twice and still could get no service. I unplugged it for the third time and when I plugged it back up I just left it blinking and took off for Ruston.  Since I was home alone and did not get to eat lunch out yesterday, I went to Taco Bell for lunch.  Am I not good at rationalizing?

After lunch I went to the library to work on their computer.  When I arrived back home about five I did the take the plug out, wait a few seconds, and put the plug back in shuffle and much to my delight the Internet finally came back on.   Isn’t it amazing how lost we feel when we cannot get connected to the Internet?  Of course there is always the library but they only let one use the computer for a total of two hours.  But that is better than nothing.

I was expecting Brian and Christy to get home about eight or nine so I decided that since I had to return two items to Wal-Mart and would be near Burger King I would just eat supper out too.  Hey, when I can eat for two dollars and pennies, why not?  I have no desire to cook these days.  It is hard to believe that I had a catering business in several states.  But I was many years younger then and still LOVED to cook.  It is nice having Christy here for she loves to cook, so she cooks and then I do the clean up.

Just as I was finishing my supper my cell phone rang and it was Brian telling me that he and Christy were home.  I had planned to do some things in the kitchen before they got home but since they arrived earlier than I thought they would, I will just do what I was planning tomorrow.  Why do tonight what I can put off until tomorrow?  And with that bit of wisdom I am off to bed.
