Where Do The Days Go???
I knew I had not posted to my blog in a few days and was really surprised when I counted up and learned that it has been nine days since my last post. I was doing so well there for a short time posting every day. Not that anyone but me cares.
I did make it to the stitching group yesterday and also last Thursday but unfortunately both times I just went by and visited for a while for I did not have anything ready to work on. I must have at least one baby quilt ready by next Thursday so that I can get something accomplished while I am chatting with all the ladies.
I have made two more trips to the thrift store. Today I took about fifteen hats that I no longer wear. I love hats and used to wear one to church every Sunday but since my hair is now very short, the hats just look silly. Most were big hats that require some hair to show to look good. I did keep two hats, my wedding hat and a hat that Joyce made for me for my seventh birthday. It is burgundy trimmed with black and is gorgeous and it looks fine with my haircut.
I have about decided that my lack of progress this week on quilting and getting rid of stuff is from the drowsiness from my pain medication and the dizziness from the allergy/cough medication. After tonight I am taking no more allergy medicine but almost have to keep taking the pain medicine. It does not make the arthritic pain go away but it does lessen the pain and every little bit helps. Made it to Curves on Monday but did not go Wednesday or today for just did not feel up to it. I have been stumbling around part of the time like I had been hitting the bottle so figured I better not try moving from exercise machine to exercise machine.
