So Far So Good
I had to go to Monroe to return a book and since I was there I stopped at IHOP for supper. When I was leaving one of the hostesses asked me how my year was going. I stopped for a minute and then said, “Well this is the second day and so far I am having a great year.” At church Wednesday night, the pastor challenged us to make this our best year ever. I am certainly going to try to do that.
I delivered another very large box of stuff to the thrift store this afternoon. While I was there I looked through all the racks of clothes just on the chance that the skirt I gave them by mistake was still there. Unfortunately it was not there.
I had several places to go today and that always makes me tired so I am going to be in bed by the time the clock strikes eight. Of course I will not go to sleep immediately but I can lie there and listen to the radio. I love the radio that Scott gave me for Christmas. It is also a clock, CD player, and best of all is that I can hook up my MP3 player and listen through the radio. I have used the ear buds a few times when I wanted to listen to something but I always fell asleep and when I awoke, my ears felt funny for a while.
