More Sorting And Tossing
Scott has really been working during his holiday vacation. Today he removed wallpaper on the wall that goes up the stairs and then got out the paint and painted it, even put on the second coat. Wish he could be here for a couple of months and maybe we could get the entire house painted. Think he might balk at that idea.
Not to be outdone, Brian rented a unit in the storage building here in Quitman and this evening he and Scott made three trips to take some large items that were just in the way. Now maybe Brian and Christy can get the rest of their stuff put where they would like to have it.
I even did some work and sorted through a few more bags and boxes and now have four more bags ready to go to Rolling Hills. I had planned to do more but had to make goodies for my boys. They had both asked me to make chocolate covered, chocolate Christmas trees like I used to make when they were in grade school and I was a room mother. I made the cake part last night but did not have Crisco to soften the chocolate for dipping so had to wait until this morning to go to Wal-Mart and get the Crisco and then I spend part of the morning dipping “trees” in chocolate. I am going to send all but two or three home with Scott. I can always make more for Brian and Christy. Scott had asked me earlier in the week for chocolate chip cookies so going to make those tomorrow morning and they will all be sent home with Scott. Christy can make more for Brian.
