Gasoline $136.9 Per Gallon
Went to Wal-Mart tonight to pick up groceries that are needed for Christmas weekend and I hope that I do not have to go back. On my way out I stopped to get gasoline and was delighted to see the big sign with gasoline priced at $139.9 but with my Wal-Mart card I saved three cents on each gallon. Not a big savings but as the saying goes, “A penny saved is a penny earned.” Too bad I only needed half a tank. That is the lowest price I have seen for gasoline in at least two or three years.
I was helping Christy get things ready for dinner and I received a phone call from Ashley. She was calling to warn me that her dad and four friends from our church were out caroling tonight and they would be by my house. The guys showed up about thirty minutes later and serenaded us with three Christmas carols. It was two degrees below freezing so they were brave to get out and go caroling but I am not surprised for they are great guys.
