My eye appointment this morning was at ten thirty but it was almost an hour before I was called into the exam room. I was told that the delay was because they could not find my file. So they just took down the information for the day and I was out in just a few minutes. Wish they had done that an hour earlier. But I had a good book with me to read so was not all that bad. The report was great for the pressure from glaucoma was down to fourteen. I think the doctor likes for it to be eighteen or lower. Pretty sure that is the lowest it has ever been. That little drop every night is doing the job.
Went to the meeting about the mission trip tonight and learned that we will be leaving the church at FOUR in the MORNING and we are to be there no later than fifteen minutes before four. Since I will have to leave home about fifteen minutes after three, I think I will just stay up rather than go to bed for three or four hours of sleep. I can sleep on the bus. That reminds me that I want to get a nice, long book on tape to listen to on the way up and back in case everyone is sleeping or reading. However, I guess a book would be simpler and much less expensive to replace in case I should misplace it on the trip.
