Million Dollar Smile

I did some sewing today but it was not on the quilt but it was a pillowcase for Mignon’s grandson.  He loves Spiderman and I saw this fabric as I was walking through Walmart the other day so bought a yard and then it took me about thirty minutes to make.   The first words after thank you when I gave Bryce the pillowcase were, “I want to hide in it?”  He started getting into the pillowcase and in the third picture he was completely inside.  Finally managed to get him to hold it up but it was with his chin.  But with a million dollar smile like that, I did not mind.

I got up rather late this morning so I called Mignon and asked if she would like to have lunch from Sonic brought to her home.  She liked the idea but since she and Bryce had breakfast at ten we decided that I would bring lunch about one.   Since I was making the pillowcase, it was about one thirty by the time I got there.  I took lunch since she should be going to bed very early tonight because she has to leave for the airport at four thirty tomorrow morning.  And on that sad note I am going to crawl in bed and listen to a book on tape.  It is almost dark so maybe I will fall asleep and get a long night of rest.
