Good Day
The Bible study we are doing during the summer is one titled Wising Up Wherever Life Happens by Beth Moore and is from the book of Proverbs. Today was the first session and it was very informative and enjoyable. After the study was completed we all adjourned to the “old” dining area for our luncheon. It was potluck and we did not have one duplicate dish. Everyone was commenting on how delicious everything was. I came home with enough left over fruit salad to last me for a day or two. We all take way too much food and then just have to cart it back home.
When I got home I just could not get in the mood to do anything. It was a beautiful, sunny day but I just had a feeling of loneliness. I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up my blood pressure and cholesterol medicines and since I was out I drove on down to the Jonesboro library and picked up a couple of movies and some books on tape and sat in the library and read until they closed. They close at five thirty so did not get that much reading done.
It is only a couple minutes after ten but I am going to bed early and hopefully will get up early tomorrow for the fourth day in a row. I must get the rest of the books posted to my website.
