Day Ended With An Answered Prayer
This afternoon shortly after I had turned the water back off, Chris came over and asked if I had gotten the leak repaired. I told him no and then he asked if I had gotten a plumber out to look at it and again my answer was no. He then told me that he would be happy to look at it and fix it for me if I wanted him to. My quick reply was that would be great and I would love for him to fix the leak. This was about five thirty and when I came out of the house to go to church at six fifteen, Chris was coming up the driveway and told me that the leak was all repaired. He said it was a pin hole in the pipe and he had repaired that. Oh what relief to have the leak repaired since I had no money to pay a plumber. Chris insisted that there was no charge an that he was happy to help me. He was definitely an answer to my prayer that the leak could be easily fixed and at a lost cost. No cost was even better.
I finished another quilt this evening but I am probably not going to send it for it has so many puckers. The two fabrics were cut the exact same size, yet the top cotton fabric stretched more than the flannel. I will not be taking a photo of it for sure. Have another almost ready to quilt and if it does the same thing, I don’t think I will be using any more flannel or if I do I will have to quilt first and then put on binding. I really like my way of making a kiddie quilt for it is quick and easy and I can get a lot made in a short time. Will just have to wait and see how this next one works out.
