Bought A New Toy

This has not been a great week for me so far. Monday night I went to bed feeling somewhat yucky and very tired. When I got up Tuesday morning I was still feeling that way so I did not go to Bible study and also missed having lunch with all the ladies. Wednesday morning I went to Curves and left after I was only a little more than half finished. I was just so tired that I could not do any more exercises. I did go to prayer meeting that night and sat for two hours watching The Passion. It was shown on a small screen and I had trouble reading the sub-titles. But I had seen the movie before so I pretty much knew what they were saying.  Tonight was the third “brain” lecture at Curves but I called Mignon about three this afternoon and told her that I was not going tonight. Still feeling tired and also needed to get some things finished before Scott got home.

Scott arrived home about ten thirty and is already using his laptop in the bedroom. He plugged the Ethernet into something on my computer, made a “shield” of cardboard covered with aluminum foil to send the signal to the bedroom. Wish his poor old mom had all his computer know how.

I was trying to get pictures from my camera to the computer and the camera would not work. I thought I remembered that the cable only worked in the bottom USB port so I changed it. Well it still would not work so I yelled for Scott and he came and tried to get it to work. Finally he followed the cord from the camera to the computer and yes, you guessed it, his intelligent mom had not put the plug in the USB port. We both had a good laugh and I asked him to please not put me in a home just yet.

Yesterday I was in Ruston and stopped by Office Depot to check to see if the printer I want had gone on sale. Well, I came home with a new toy that I really did not NEED but I WANTED. I bought a one gig flash drive and have already tried it out at the Ruston library. Since putting books on my website is so slow at home I am going to put the information and photos on the flash drive and then put onto the website at the library. I just had to try it out today and even with figuring out how to get the information to the library computer, I got three books on in about five minutes. Of course I only had to cut and paste, so going to do three books the same way at home and see how long it takes. I am sure the library will still be quicker.
