I was doing so well posting to my blog daily and then something happened. What happened is that midnight crept up on me and I was sleepy and tired so I went to bed. I do not have any idea why I think that I should do my blog posting between ten and midnight. I read many blogs where the posts are made before seven in the morning. Not a chance that I will ever post that early. The reason that I am writing now in the early evening is that I am at the library waiting for Brian and Christy to come by and then we will go to Taco Bell for supper. I know not a very fancy place to take someone for their birthday but it is the end of the month and not enough money to go fancy. Besides there is not that great a choice here in Ruston anyway.
I still have not finished the quilt for Christy but the plans now are to take it to her Sunday after church. I nearly always come to Ruston to eat and spend the afternoon at the library on Sunday after church so will just make a quick trip to Brian’s and take the quilt. And, I can have the two of them hold it up so that I can get a decent photograph of the quilt. I must get a hanger of some kind on a blank wall so that I can hang quilts when I want to photograph them for spread on the floor or a bed is not the best shot in my opinion.
I spent the afternoon listing books on my website and that is one slow and boring job. But at least I am now only four short of two hundred and fifty books listed. Unfortunately I still am not half finished but if I keep plugging away every day I should be finished no later than the end of February. However I am going to try and list at least thirty a day and if I can do forty a day then I will be finished by Valentine’s Day. That would be the best Valentine’s Day I can think of right now. Well the best would be if a millionaire man about sixty years of age knocked on my door and said that he was looking for an older woman. :O) Nope, it will take the book listing.
And with that silly observation I am going to post this and go find a comfortable chair and read until Brian arrives. He is supposed to be here in seven minutes and I hope he is not late for I am hungry.
