Weekend Is Over

Back in the days when I was a career woman, I was usually sad on Sunday night for it meant I had to go back to work the next morning. Retirement is great for now I do not have a schedule that I have to follow. However, the other night I was thinking about my week and realized that I have something every day of the week except Saturday. Fortunately I do not have to get up really early for any of them. Yesterday which was Saturday I managed to do some house cleaning, listed a few books on my web site, and did a load of laundry. As usually happens with me, I did not get the clothes folded and put away. I do not mind doing the laundry but I hate folding and hanging and putting away. I should have been sewing on a quilt but think I can get it finished tomorrow. I better get it finished for I am supposed to give it to Christy tomorrow night when I take her and Brian out to dinner for her birthday. We have had cold weather for over a week here in the sub tropics and I am ready for it to be warm again. I cannot seem to get warm anymore. This morning in Sunday school a few of the people were saying they were too warm and I was sitting there wishing that I could turn up the heat. I have been sleepy all day so I am going to bed early tonight. Must get up early tomorrow morning and get to sewing.
