Scott Home for Christmas
I called Scott about four this afternoon to find out how near he was to home and to ask if he wanted to meet me at Taco Bell for supper. He was to call me when he was about twenty minutes from Ruston. When he called he asked if we could go to Cane’s instead. I agreed and took off to meet him there. Supper was his treat and it was nice to have someone else pay for a change.
I did not get up today until almost noon since I did not have to make and deliver brownies to Mignon until later in the afternoon. The brownies were the last of the Twelve Days of Christmas gifts. She gave me a ham she had for she and her family do not care for ham that much. She thought it was a precooked one but it needs to be cooked which is not a problem for tomorrow I will put in the crock-pot and forget it for several hours. Scott and I will definitely enjoy ham sandwiches and especially ham and eggs for breakfast. Well he will probably want pancakes but I can have eggs since I am not that fond of pancakes.
Just finished one small sewing projects but did not get any sewing done on the large project. That means that tomorrow I have to sew like crazy. Scott will probably be doing something with Brian and if I am invited to join them I will have to pass this time for the sewing has to be finished by the time I go to bed tomorrow night. I might have a couple of hours to sew Christmas Eve morning but would rather not. Only three more days until Christmas and I think the days have passed faster this year than ever before.
