An Exciting Day
I am about ready to give up on myself. I cannot believe that I did not get one stitch sewn today. But at least I did two loads of laundry and actually folded or hung everything and put it where it belonged. Did the housecleaning too so guess it was not a wasted day. Oh yes, I also got all the Christmas presents wrapped. Hope the ones from Amazon get here by Saturday. Told Brian today about the gifts maybe not getting here until Christmas Eve and his comment was that if they got here on Christmas Eve we would have time to wrap them for opening on Christmas Eve night. The only problem is that I was planning for us to go to his house about ten and our mail does not come until at least noon. Might check with the post office and see if I can pick them up at the post office early Christmas Eve morning.
Tomorrow morning I must get up early for I need to bake a pan of brownies for the twelfth day of Christmas gift for Mignon. We have really had fun doing these somewhat gag gifts for twelve days. I have to be up early for she may be leaving for her sister’s around ten thirty and I do not want to miss her.
Scott will be home sometime tomorrow evening. Really looking forward to having him home for a week. Usually when he is home we go out to eat a lot with Brian and Christy but this time I am broke so we will be eating at home. That means that I will have to cook. :O(
I said I did not do any sewing but I did do some cutting and made some decisions about exactly what and how I want to sew the item I am making.
Today while I was doing all the exciting things that have to be done weekly, A House Without A Christmas Tree, Happy Christmas Miss King, and The Homecoming were playing in the background.
