Another Quilt Almost Finished
I cannot believe that in one week from tonight, Christmas will be over for another year. I have the kiddy quilt almost finished with only the stitching around the edge left to do tomorrow morning. Then I will start on the other quilt that is a Christmas gift. I think I am the queen of doing things at the very last minute.
Since it is less than a week until Christmas, I decided that if I am to finish watching all the Christmas movies then I better get started again. Today and tonight the ones that were playing were, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, The Nutcracker, Scrooged, A Christmas Wish, and An American Christmas Carol.
I have a stack of Christmas books to read but don’t have the time right now to read them. I did read one yesterday when I should have been sewing. The book is On Strike for Christmas by Sheila Roberts. If you like to laugh this is a good book for that. Several women decide that they are tired of doing everything for Christmas while the husbands sit and watch football games. So they go on strike and leave everything to the men. Many times I was laughing so hard that I could not see the words on the page for the tears running down my face.
