Going To Stop Making Plans
I think the thing for me to do is to just stop making plans for it seems that I never seem to carry them out. Not a stitch of sewing done today. I did read a book though. Got up about one again today after going to bed at five in the morning. Decided to return movies to the library and just stayed and read for a couple of hours. When I got home I just sat and read until I finished the book. I had not read in about a week so I was suffering from withdrawal. I have a dozen books from the library and they are all Christmas stories. Some are mysteries and some are romance novels that also include some mystery. I like to read just about anything but science fiction, fantasy, or horror. I do like a good mystery story but for some reason I just cannot get interested in novels written by Agatha Christie. I have read a few of her books but they just don’t hold my interest. Of course if they were the only books available to me then I would definitely read them.
A week ago I finished up the tablecloths, placemats, table runners and pillows that I was making for Christmas gifts. They have been received and both sisters-in-law are very happy with the items. I do not have pictures at this time for they are going to make pictures for me on their tables and sofas. Thought that would be better than hanging each item on my design wall and taking a picture.
