Halloween 2007
I am not into Halloween much anymore since Scott and Brian are not here to eat the left over candy. I had heard that kids in my area were going to be trick or treating on Tuesday night. So last night I turned on the porch light and sat in the living room reading and waiting for the three kids I knew that were going to come by. Well three little kids did come by but it was not the three I was expecting. Tonight when I get home from church I will turn on the light and hopefully kids will come by. I want to get rid of the lollipops so that I will not eat them. The three I was expecting are the two next door and my friend’s grandson. If they do not come tonight then I will just take the lollipops to their houses. :O)
There have been many discussions in all my CQ groups about spider webs used in CQ embellishing. I just had to show everyone the neatest spider web I think I have ever seen, other than the real ones which in my opinion are beautiful works of art in nature.
A couple or three weeks ago I was coming home from church on Wednesday night and noticed bright lights on the front of my friend’s house. So I drove on down to her driveway and here is what I saw.
And this is how it looks in the daytime. The spider is three feet from leg to leg.
My friend told me that she had a spider that was eight feet across and she wanted her husband to put it on the highest peak of the roof but he refused. Smart man. :O)

That spider is fantastic. DH wasn’t impressed as he’s scared of them. DD Gemma thought it was brilliant and is nagging for one for her bedroom. Not sure if you can get them over here in the UK though.

The spider was bought in Dallas at a Halloween Spirit store in Dallas a few years back. We got another 8 foot spider this year in Monroe, La at a store called Spirit Halloween. I checked on the website this morning but didn’t see any, but you might could call. http://www.spirithalloween.com
Have a great day!
