I am very new to CQ so I can't give any suggestions on if you need to add more or not. I think it is a very lovely block.

Joyce I tried twice to send an answer to your comment via email and both times I got a message back that you did not have a yahoo.com account. Go figure. Could you send me your address?

I was just looking thru the March issue of The Quilter Magazine and they have an article on antique CQ's. From the small blow-ups it did not look like they did anything more to their printed patches. If I were going to do anything to the block I would put some ribbon leaves with the flower in the royal blue patch and maybe a little something where the ribbon doesn't quite meet the corner in that same patch. The rest is perfect as it is.

DD your blck is just beautiful. The turquoise patch makes it sing. I wish I could see the design on it better. I agree, I think the black block is just perfect the way it is and anything more would be overkill. If these ladies are newbies they sure do nice work. Hope your arm is better soon so you can do another RR.

It is beautiful the way it is, but if you want to do something I would have used the red and light green that already is represented in the block.
