I am sure that some people wonder about my use of the name Love Buzzard. Love is my maiden name and Buzzard is for sentimental reasons. When my late husband and I married, we lived on the top of a seventy acre mountain which he had named Buzzard's Roost. His employer transferred us several times and each new home was named Buzzard's Roost.
As this blog develops, I will be writing more about Buzzard's Roost and the loves of my life, my late husband Don and our two wonderful sons, Scott and Brian. Not only will I write about my three men but also my feelings, opinions, likes, dislikes, and all the things that make up my emotional self. However, most of the time I will be writing about my creative self which loves nearly every craft that has been done since woman decorated her first cave.
My favorite crafts are the ones that deal with fabric and threads. At this point in my life, my newest love is crazy quilt embellishing and I have so many ideas for blocks running around in my brain that I will never live long enough to complete them all.

I live at 12 Buzzardtown Road. It has been my home for 38 years. I would not trade it for an apartment in NYC. Memories abound here.
